Walnut Blasting Carbon Clean
Restore lost power and smooth out your idle by removing intake valve carbon buildup.
Overview
Direct injection engines are notorious for accumulating carbon deposits on the intake valves over time. This restricts airflow, causing rough idling, misfires, and a loss of power. Our walnut blasting service safely and effectively removes this buildup, restoring your engine's original performance and smoothness.
Using specialized equipment, we blast crushed walnut shells (a soft abrasive) into the intake ports under high pressure while simultaneously vacuuming them out. This process strips the hardened carbon away without damaging the metal valves or cylinder head. The result is an engine that breathes easily, idles perfectly, and regains the crisp throttle response it had from the factory.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How often should I get a walnut blast carbon clean?
A:For most direct-injection European vehicles (like BMWs and VW/Audis), we recommend a carbon clean every 60,000 to 80,000 kilometers.
Q: Why doesn't fuel additive clean the valves?
A:In direct injection engines, fuel is sprayed directly into the cylinder, completely bypassing the intake valves. Therefore, fuel additives never touch the carbon buildup on the valves.
